Are you looking for a unique property with a stunning view for your perfect rural Cornish staycation?

Recently enlarged, refurbished and decorated,The Signal Box offers a private space where you won’t be overlooked, overheard or disturbed so you can get away from it all to find some peace and tranquility.

On arrival it’s easy to experience the feeling of being transported back in time; Old Luckett Station has retained enough of it’s original form to be easily recognisable as a train station – access to The Signal Box takes you down from the upper driveway onto the lower driveway where you’ll be travelling along the path of the original train tracks, in between the two platforms; the left hand side was goods (where the old station house is located) and the right hand side was passenger, where you’ll see the old waiting room with the old granite railway bridge located behind you.

The station closed in 1966 but as you make your way along the drive towards the end of the road, it’s nostalgic to think that steam trains once travelled this same route…

As you arrive at the gate to the Signal Box you reach the end of our line but this path would once have continued all the way to Plymouth along the then Tamar Valley line.

On arrival you’ll discover that you have your very own ‘room with a view’ it’s a stunning and breathtaking sight overlooking open farmland, The Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park and the view is ever changing with different seasons, weather and light conditions – perfect if you’re an artist, photographer or a countryside and nature lover.

The hot tub is right outside the patio doors, ready and waiting for you to enjoy a relaxing soak with some invigorating body jets whenever it suits, there’s also a shower conveniently located beside the hot tub

You’ll have all the cooking facilities you’ll need for creating a feast during your stay and if the weather allows, there’s a kettle BBQ, perfect for some alfresco cooking and dining

If you’re bringing your dog along, you can relax as they enjoy the freedom of a fully fenced safe and secure space – your pet can come and go from the cabin to the patio and garden without any worry

The accommodation is open plan and spacious, ideal for a couple to spend some precious quality time together. If you like nothing better than to sink into a comfy bed, you’ll be right at home here, the fresh air and quiet location affords a good night’s sleep

Maybe you enjoy watching TV? and need to access your Netflix or Amazon Prime account whilst you’re away? That’s no problem, the wall mounted Smart TV is easy to manage and you’ll be logged into your account and watching your favourite box set in no time!

The living space has a dining table with two comfortable chairs which can also double up as an office space for those needing to work whilst away, with a great Wi-Fi signal too

The hot tub is right outside the patio doors and is always ready and waiting for you to enjoy a relaxing soak with some invigorating body jets whenever it suits – there’s also a convenient electric shower right beside the hot tub

The station is located in a UNESCO world heritage site and an area of outstanding natural beauty, it’s very special place to visit and make lasting memories…
